After completing 500 hours of continuing education and passing a comprehensive written exam covering all areas of dentistry, Dr. Smith was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1988. Dr. Smith is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Smith has lived in South Florida with his family since 1977.
